Midway and Charleston
Just 15 minutes from Park City, this real estate area was cited as one of the best resort values by The Wall Street Journal last year. The area is growing rapidly and has many more amenities than some of the other "out of town" areas. Most of the recent and future developments show the influence of Park City both in their price and size. The town is working hard to retain its small town farm community feel. Amazing views of the Heber Valley and Mt. Timpanogos abound. There are many real estate opportunities and this area has its own access to Deer Valley via the gondola at the Jordanelle.
Midway has a Swiss influence and is known for its Swiss Days celebration each year in September. Midway is also home to 5 golf courses - Wasatch State Park Lake and Mountain, Soldier Hollow Gold, Soldier Hollow Silver, The Homestead Resort- and many new development areas taking advantage of its equestrian and farming assets as well as its fishing and golf access. Midway addresses have a premium over the rest of the Heber Valley, but its community feel makes it worth it.
Charleston is a small community on the edge of the Deer Creek Reservior with great views and easy access to Provo, Utah.
